Diary Editor

The Software Tool House Diary Editor allows you to edit any historical entry in any Remedy ARS Form's Diary Field.

It functions by updating only the records' diary field contents using a Merge. In effect, it is similar to exporting the records' data, editing it manually (and carefully), and importing that data.

All Remedy server authentications and workflow are adhered to. Note that there are generally no workflow elements set to fire on a Merge.

By default, you must have Administrator rights to use this product. This can be overridden on a Remedy server by server basis. Please contact us for information.

Download Instructions

The program consists of a single file. It requires three Remedy supplied DLLs to be on the path or in the same directory as the program. They are available here for convenience.

Simply save the program and, if needed, the Remedy DLLs, in the same directory. Using your Windows Explorer, create a Shortcut to the program and drag that shortcut to your desktop or in your Start Programs folder.

4.5+ 		You may select any version. All versions work on ARS servers of any version. If you don't want to download a set of dlls, select the version matching the dlls you have. Otherwise, download both files for the same version.

Select "save as" on any version of DiaryFieldEditor.exe and save to convenient location such as c:\Program Files\Remedy or c:\Program Files\Remedy\SoftwareToolHouse\

 		These are the required Remedy DLLs. If you do not already have them installed on your machine, you may download them here. Save them in the same directory as the program file above. You must download the ones for the same version as the program you downloaded.
