Meta-Query allows you to make CSVs of data from either a BMC Remedy ARS or ServiceNow server.

You can also do SQL selects and updates against BMC servers — without an SQL client.

With Meta-Query, you query a BMC or ServiceNow server from the command line. It needs no installation, just an unzip.

All results are interpretted and can be presented as text or CSV.

By default, all fields are included. Queries can be batched and are automatically reissued to handle servers limits.

Use Meta-Query to:

• view all data fields and records when problem solving,
• create quick reports and extracts,
• take and compare before and after images while developing workflow,
• to analyze table connections and build documentation,
• syntax check and validate SQL queries for workflow,
• modify data on the SQL level.
