If you set the Diary Editor license key in a server form, your users will not need to enter the key to use the editor.

Download and save this .def file and use the BMC Remedy Administrator Tool to import it onto the server.

Once imported, you can save the license in a single record.

To select the form, in the User Tool Open all objects and switch to the Find tab. Type "Software Tool House Application Configuration" and press enter.

Simply create a new record selecting "Diary Editor" for the Application and "License" for the Keyword. Type the license key you received in the Value field and then save the record.

By default, the Remedy User that Diary Editor signs on as must be an Administrator. You may change this behaviour if you want.
